Michael Wiederkehr, MD, FAAD
Carmen Garcia, MD, FAAD
Dr. Carmen J. Garcia is a board certified dermatologist who is fluent in English and Spanish; she practices general dermatology, cosmetic dermatology, and dermatologic surgery in both pediatric and adult patients.
Dr. Garcia graduated Summa Cum Laude from Douglass College and received her medical degree from Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York. She completed her Internal Medicine residency and became board certified in Internal Medicine in 1980. She then entered the residency program in dermatology at Columbia University and St. Luke’s Hospital in New York, where she was chief resident. She became board certified in dermatology in 1982. She is an inductee of the Phi Beta Kappa National Honors Society.
Dr. Garcia is an Associate Attending in Dermatology at Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center, St. Luke’s Hospital in New York, Hackensack University Medical Center, and Valley Hospital in Ridgewood. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and a member of the New Jersey Dermatology Society.
Lisa M Micik, MPAS, PA-C
Lisa M Micik is a board certified dermatology physician assistant who specializes in medical and cosmetic dermatology of the skin, hair ,and nails. She has been practicing for 11 years.
She graduated from Kings College in Wilkes-barre, PA with a B.S. in medical studies and a Masters in physician assistant studies. Lisa is certified by the National commission of certification of physician assistants and national board of medical examiners. Lisa is licensed in New York and New jersey. She is a fellow member of the society of dermatology physician assistants, American academy of physician assistants, and new York and new jersey dermatology physician assistants.
As an experienced, licensed Dermatology Physician Assistant, Lisa works closely with patients to teach them about their dermatological conditions and their treatment options. Her training and experience has earned her extensive knowledge of topical and oral medications and their indications in common conditions. Lisa is trained and has experience in injected neurotoxins: Botox , Dysport, Xeomin and Fillers: Juvederm, Restylane, Restylane Silk, Perlane, Belotero, Voluma, and Radiesse.
Miriam Fox, PA-C
Miriam Fox is a board-certified Dermatology Physician Assistant who specializes in medical and cosmetic Dermatology of the skin, hair, and nails.
She graduated from Barnard College in New York, NY with a B.A. in Psychology, Cum Laude; and from SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY with a B.S. in Physician Assistant Studies, Cum Laude.
Miriam is certified by the National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants and licensed by the National Board of Medical Examiners in New York and New Jersey. She is a fellow member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants and American Academy of Physician Assistants.
As a licensed and board-certified Physician Assistant, Miriam works closely with patients to diagnose, treat, and teach about their dermatological conditions and treatment options.
In addition to being passionate about Dermatology, Miriam is a certified yoga instructor and is interested in organic health, wellness, and environmentally conscious “green” living.
Eduard Raklyar, MD, FAAD

After graduating summa cum laude from the City University of New York, Dr. Eduard Raklyar earned his medical degree, magna cum laude, from the State University of New York Downstate College of Medicine. He then completed his internship in internal medicine and his dermatology residency at Georgetown University at Washington Hospital Center in Washington, D.C. Dr. Raklyar was then awarded a fellowship in dermatologic (Mohs) surgery at the University of British Columbia, Skin Surgery Centre, in Vancouver, British Columbia. Dr. Raklyar is a Phi Beta Kappa recipient, an associate of the American College of Mohs Surgery, a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, and a member of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery and the Dermatology Foundation.
Janine Zolty
Board-Certified Dermatology Physician Assistant
Janine Zolty is a board-certified Dermatology Physician Assistant who specializes in medical and cosmetic dermatology of the skin, hair, and nails. She graduated with honors from SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY with a bachelor’s in science. Janine works closely with patients to diagnose, treat, and teach them about their dermatological condition and treatment options. She has years of experience treating patients with acne, alopecia, atopic dermatitis, eczema, psoriasis, shingles, etc. to name a few.

Rachel Sacknovitz FNP-C

Xuan Wang, MD
Dr. Xuan Wang is a board-certified Anatomic Pathologist with subspecialty board in Dermatopathology. She received a Bachelor of Medicine degree at Shanghai Medical University in China, and a Ph.D. in Biology at Brandeis University in Massachusetts. Dr. Wang completed residency training in Anatomic Pathology at New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical College. She subsequently pursued fellowship training in Dermatopathology with Dr. Cynthia Magro and Dr. Klaus Busam at the combined program between Weill Cornell Medical College and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Prior to residency training, Dr. Wang conducted research in Skin Biology at the Rockefeller University. She has published several peer-reviewed journal articles relating to skin pathology and skin biology.
Besides her appointment at Metropolitan Dermatology, Dr. Wang is also an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical College, and an Attending Pathologist at the Laboratory of Dermatopathology of Aurora Diagnostics, where she serves as the Medical Director

Ariella Rosenfeld, PA-C is a board-certified physician assistant specializing in dermatology.
Ariella graduated from Mercy College School of Health and Natural Sciences with a Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies and Magna Cum Laude from Lander College for Women with a B.S. in Biology.
